It’s also a great base from which to explore the rest of the island. If you and your partner like to soak up some culture, experience some tradition or head out on foot or bicycle, you’ll find numerous opportunities here.
With weddings at Apokryfo, choose between civil and religious ceremonies and then choose your backdrop. The dreamy, sun kissed courtyard for an intimate exchange of vows or for more grandeur, the 19th century Neoclassical School building in the village. As the church, school and guesthouse are all within walking distance, take advantage of the surroundings with a photo shoot in all locations.
The courtyard can accommodate up to 80 guests for an al fresco dinner. Similarly the poolside is transformed with soft lighting and candles in the evening. If you have a larger party, up to 120 of your nearest and dearest can be accommodated when using the adjoining, stone restaurant interior. There is also a cosy rooftop with panoramic village views perfect for smaller weddings at Apokryfo.
As well as holding family values dear, Cyprus is also renowned for its hospitality and this often means it’s plentiful table. Guests will be able to delight in an array of locally sourced, fresh cooked produce as part of your wedding banquet. All this will be accompanied by no other than Apokryfo’s special reserve wine served to you from their underground wine cellar. Did I mention Lofou village is in the famed wine region of Limassol?
