Minthis Resort, Paphos
Real Wedding - June 2022
The fresh air, the beautiful greenery and charming monastery were the perfect combination in a venue for Gabby and Jordan. Living in Dubai, with family in the UK, Lithuania and beyond, Minthis was the perfect spot to get creative and wow their guests as they all reunited to celebrate their love.
This loved up couple wanted to celebrate in a style true to them and their own lives while wowing their guests and giving them an experience to remember. With family and friends coming from across the globe, guest experience was the number one priority. Gabby’s feminine side was pivotal in creating this design and Jordans hospitality background defined the cuisine.
Using the vast open space the venue offered, we treated it as a blank canvas to design something totally unique for this couples love story; definitely not just another wedding! The florals and lighting complemented each other perfectly to bring to life the vision of both the bride and groom and provide guests an atmosphere which was a treat for all senses.
This is a rich tablescape, with many individual elements that came together to give it the final, polished look. Guests were welcomed to the monastery with a romantic floral arch framing the vows and a refreshing lemonade station quenching the thirst of the excited attendees. This just set the tone for the reveal of the dinner aesthetic. The romance continued with soft worn woods, whisper thin drapes and fresh blooms adorning the tables, not to mention the candlelight.
People were more than ready to hit the dance floor, lit by thousands of fairy lights suspended in the sky. The trails on the ends of the dramatic banquet tables ensured that the wedding looked lush from each and every angle, not one corner was left unadorned.
The entertainment also added to the overall, luscious feel of the day in a totally different way. The harpist plucking at the strings as the bride and her maids stepped down the aisle was the epitome of classic wedding elegance. The couple chose an acoustic singer and guitarist to serenade their guests, one they had listened to and danced to on a previous visit to Cyprus.
Over all this wedding was designed to be meaningful to the couple at every turn, enhancing the just married feeling and giving the guests a front row seat to the wedding of the year!
